Short Bio

Jimmy Daley is an instrumentalist, vocalist and composer from Sydney, Australia. He is a graduate of the Sydney Conservatorium of Music and plays Mandolin, Guitar and Banjo. He performs in and writes original music for The Morrison’s (where he was nominated for a Golden Guitar) Diamond Duck, and his own solo project.

He also performs with his father Gary Daley in a mandolin/accordion duet where they examine Italian, Classical and Folk repertoire by composers like Raffaele Calace. He has worked with many notable Australian musicians including Andrew Farris (INXS) and legendary didgeridoo player William Barton.

He is the Musical Director of the wildly successful show ‘Man of Constant Sorrow: A tribute to the music of O Brother Where Art Thou’, which has featured All Our Exes Live in Texas, Ngaiire, Luke Escombe and comedian Tommy Dean.

2021 will see the release of his debut solo album and The Morrison’s second Album.
