Our Spring/Summer Season comes to life over seventeen performances, traversing genres from post-punk and hip-hop to classical and jazz. New compositions sit beside canonical classics; emerging artists amongst legendary acts.

One of the singular indie-rock songwriters of our time,  Parquet Courts frontman A.Savage returns to Australia from self-imposed exile in Paris to tour his new album ‘Several Songs About Fire’.

Thu 21 November

Becky Sui Zhen Freeman is a Chinese-Malaysian ‘Australian’ artist, musician and creative producer working across audio, visual and interactive mediums. Her musical project Sui Zhen examines loss on multiple levels, from the death of loved ones to the widespread societal tendency to disappear within the 1’s and 0’s of modern life's tech-driven obsession. 

Mon 25—Thu 28 November

Few groups in history, recent or otherwise, elevate mood to such singular, smoldering supremacy as the Australian duo of Jonnine Standish and Nigel Yang aka HTRK [‘Hate Rock']. Across nearly two decades of work, wounds (co-founder Sean Stewart tragically took his own life in 2010), and world tours, their sound has shape-shifted between densities and intensities, noise and nakedness, but never wavered in its delicate poetic gravity.

Thu 5 December

After releasing an eponymous album in 2023 and a follow up EP ”Fragments” in 2024, post-jazz improvising quartet We Will Intersect will premiere a site-specific composition by pianist Adrian Lim-Klumpes. The unique architecture of The Nest will be utilised to explore new sonic palettes and interactions.
