UNSANCTIFIED is a fragmental music/theatre work exploring the many musical iterations of Shakespeare's Ophelia. Join Ophelia as she sings herself free of the shackles of opera convention, trialing and discarding the many masks western classical composers have fantasised her wearing. Where might Ophelia end up if she rejects the indulgent trauma porn of her hitherto imposed narrative. What if she could write her own ending?

Featuring some of Sydney's finest musicians, this new work directed by Constantine Costi and performed by soprano Alexandra Flood will electrify you.
