To celebrate the release of highly anticipated sophomore album Strangest Feeling, released 25th July via Impressed Recordings, Bonniesongs will be performing with her incredible 8 piece band.
With heavy thrums of detuned guitars entwined with layers of angelic airy vocals, the new album Strangest Feeling shows Bonniesongs’ masterful ability to balance sound and silence, reminding us that music, at its core, is simple vibration moving through air. Bonniesongs makes music that is both mellow and hazy and driven and edgy, traversing art-folk, psychedelia, dream-pop and grunge. She could also be compared to art-rock and alternative artists such as PJ Harvey, Feist and Grouper for her music’s raw, hypnotic qualities, although Bonniesongs’ style sits more in a ‘ethereal grunge’ category of its own, one she’s been carving out since her 2019’s debut album Energetic Mind (Small Pond/Art As Catharsis). Once described by artist Fink, who championed Bonniesongs heavily on his KCRW radio show and toured Australia with her early this year as having “a deceptively hard edged soft-core.”

Harrie (Huck) Hastings is an Eora Based singer-songwriter, artist and radio maker. They also form one half of the band Hacky Sack.
A regular fixture at fbi.radio they produce and present across a variety of shows, bringing to all of them a passion and flare for audio storytelling.
All of their artistic endeavours, are an effort to further understand themselves and the world around them, to reflect and connect to humanity.
Harrie Hastings will perform from doors at 6.30pm.

All performances at Phoenix Central Park are free.

Phoenix Central Park is an intimate performance space and tickets are limited. Due to high demand, tickets will be issued at random to those who have entered each ticket ballot. Each performance has a separate ballot, so if you would like to attend multiple performances, you will need to enter each ballot separately.
We advise you to listen to the artist you are entering the ballot for, and consider which shows you’d really like to attend. Entering more ballots does not increase your chances of attending.
Please only enter our ballots with your own details - if we catch you using false details, you won’t have any luck. We reserve the right to cancel any tickets we believe are obtained through false information at any time.
