Way Dynamic
2 March 2026
Way Dynamic is the solo project for singer, songwriter, multi instrumentalist and producer Dylan Young. In August, Spoilsport Records released Massive Shoe, Way Dynamic’s third album since 2022, continuing Young’s exploration into minimalist folk-pop, baroque pop and art rock.
Yellow Green Red described Way Dynamic as “Brian Wilson’s lust for pop perfection brought back to earth by Randy Newman’s silliness and Christopher Cross’s knack for an original melody that already feels familiar”. Although Way Dynamic can draw parallels to many seventies artists, Young’s music never falls into songwriting tropes of that era, instead he manages to sidestep any typical motif, keeping the album engaging and lighthearted, and maintaining a sense of adventure in his music.
Massive Shoe has grown Way Dynamic’s audience exponentially. Along the way he’s picked up admirers like MJ Lenderman, Whitney, Everything But The Girl’s Ben Watt, Tom Misch, Waxahatchee’s Katie Crutchfield who took them on tour and in her Substack called Miffed It “my favourite song in a VERY long time”, and John Mayer and Elton John who have both raved about the album on their radio shows.

Daily Toll DJs
Daily Toll is an ever-mutating project by self-taught musician, poet/artist Kata Szász-Komlós and Jasper Craig-Adams, inviting along friends and occasional collaborators. With unmistakable charm, Daily Toll is known to conjure a unique kind of sonic magic; Reluctant to be contained by traditional genre expectations, at once harkening to a folk song intimacy, lounge-room jam band with hypnotic melodies and the artful poeticism of an adjacent Flying Nun legacy; deceptively restrained instrumentation leaves room for an earnest presence and an undeniable resonance by songs that remain as open questions, lingering long after the last string struck and last word sung.
Their debut album A Profound Non-Event, released on London label Tough Love Records, sold out in 12 days and was re-pressed in the space of two months with fans across the globe. Daily Toll is rooted firmly in the homegrown underground while embodying the defining ethos of growth and change.
Tonight, Daily Toll will make their debut as selectors, opening for Way Dynamic from doors at 6:30pm with a patchwork of musical inspirations and references to set the scene.
