Bukhu + Nosh

Bukhchuluun Ganburged (Bukhu) is a master student of the Music and Dance Conservatory of Ulaanbaatar. Performing the folk musics of Mongolia and exploring the aural dimensions of sounds generated by traditional instruments and harmonic overtone vocal techniques.
Based in Sydney, Australia since 2009, Bukhu was granted most prestigious Distinguished Talent Visa by the Australian government as an internationally recognised artist with exceptional and outstanding contributions to the arts.
Bukhu combines virtuosic Morin Khuur (Horse Head Fiddle) and Khuumii (Harmonic Overtone Throat Singing) skills to transmit the harmony of Mongolian nomads and Shamanic culture through time and space.
Bukhu’s music brings a contemporary take on the tradition of Mongolian bards of the middle ages and those of ancient times, acting as a national memory bank by working mythologies, historic figures and events into traditional verse form.
Nosh Mistry
With a childhood immersed in music both listening and learning to play, Nosh Mistry from Sydney, Australia is a multi-instrumentalist composer and musician exploring a wide range of musical scapes.
With numerous live performances, his studio and recording work ranges from composing and producing music for advertisements, documentaries, films, drama and working as a producer with various artists.
Bukhu and Nosh have teamed up to create, perform and release music which transcends genres and takes listeners on their imagined journeys.

Phoenix Central Park is an intimate performance space and tickets are limited. Due to high demand, tickets will be issued at random to those who have entered each ticket ballot. Each performance has a separate ballot, so if you would like to attend multiple performances, you will need to enter each ballot separately.
We advise you to listen to the artist you are entering the ballot for, and consider which shows you’d really like to attend. Entering more ballots does not increase your chances of attending.
Please only enter our ballots with your own details - if we catch you using false details, you won’t have any luck. We reserve the right to cancel any tickets we believe are obtained through false information at any time.

If you are successful you will receive an email up to ten days prior to the performance with instructions on how to claim your tickets.
This offer is only valid for a limited time. Unclaimed tickets may be forfeited. You will have the option of confirming up to two tickets for a performance.
