Kayps

27 August 2026

Born in Broome, Western Australia, Kayps is an Indigenous Walmatjarri and Bunuba hip-hop artist now based in Perth/Boorloo. After spending his early years in Fitzroy Crossing, a remote town in the Kimberley region, Kayps relocated to Perth/Boorloo to pursue greater educational opportunities. A gifted writer and producer, Kayps is known for blending melodic infectious hooks with high-speed and intricate rap flows. Drawing on a wide range of influences, his music reflects personal storytelling, contemporary energy and deep-rooted introspection. As a proud Bunuba artist, Kayps explores identity and cultural reconnection through his work.

August 14th 2026, Kayps is set to release his album titled BUNUBA BABY, a deeply personal project that delves into his evolving relationship with culture and identity. Through powerful storytelling, the album captures his experiences of growing up culturally distanced, grappling with feelings of confusion, anger, and frustration and the impact this has had on his relationships with family and Country. It also explores how he has come to understand the importance of reconnecting with his roots while acknowledging the broader political issues affecting his community. BUNUBA BABY represents a turning point where the title transforms from a creative moniker into a lived reality, as Kayps embraces his heritage and the responsibilities that come with it.

Opening DJ

Zion Garcia b2b SOLLYY

Western Sydney artists Zion Garcia and SOLLYY are part of a generation broadening the conversation around what Australian culture looks and sounds like. With both part of the collective Full Circle, the pair have helped build a platform that has become a touchpoint for emerging artists, local scenes and cultural exchange.

A rapper, producer, filmmaker and writer, Garcia’s work draws from the internet-age sprawl of contemporary culture, folding hip-hop, film and personal narrative into a practice that resists easy categorisation. SOLLYY is a DJ, producer and curator whose approach to music is informed by deep digging and deep musical curiousity, drawing sounds from every corner into conversation.

Zion and SOLLYY will DJ from doors at 6:30pm.

Please only enter our ballots with your own details - if we catch you using false details, you won’t have any luck. We reserve the right to cancel any tickets we believe are obtained through false information at any time.

  • If you are successful you will receive an email up to ten days prior to the performance with instructions on how to claim your tickets.
