Mouseatouille
13 August 2026
Mouseatouille, the Melbourne-based band of nine members, have always sought comfort in numbers. Starting as a two person high school band in 2016, the band soon grew to include anyone who could be convinced to pick up an instrument. Their 2019 double album Out of the Hospital and Into the Morgue features more than 25 performers, musicians and non musicians alike, playing everything from woodwind, brass and strings to banjo and tubular bells.
Slimming down to nine members between 2019 and 2024, the band now consists of Daniel Antulov (guitar), Chloe Dimitrjevitch (synthesiser), Harry Green (guitar), Sofia Green (clarinet), Erinna Lloyd (violin), Fergus Menner (piano, trumpet), Spencer Noonan (drums), Tom Pagonis (trombone) and Adam Scandrett (bass).
Mouseatouille has opened for established Australian artists such as Floodlights, RVG and Katie Dey, and international acts such as Your Arms Are My Cocoon, Weatherday and Black Country, New Road. In 2025, Mouseatouille embarked on a headlining Australian tour that culminated in a performance at Meredith Music Festival.
Their 2025 album DJ Set, out via Dot Dash Recordings, works to retain this high school spirit. Recorded haphazardly over the course of five years, using whatever equipment was available at the time and employing a 'learn-as-you-go' approach to composition and arrangement. Through endless rehearsals and recording sessions in someone's garage, a share-house kitchen or a parent’s lounge room, Mouseatouille synthesise the care and precision of orchestral arrangement with the spontaneity and carelessness of getting together with your friends to make music simply because it's fun.

704 W High St
704 W High St is a specialist programme hosted by Rhea Thomas and Patrick McKenzie on Sunday evenings on fbi radio. Beginning three years ago as the resident emo, cloud and shoegaze show, the programme has since expanded to highlight the cutting edge of genre, art and nostalgia in new music. 704 has hosted an array of artists including Chanel Beads, Voice Actor, bar italia and many more, and has expanded to facilitate events featuring international headliners alongside local talent such as Jonny Chopps, Mouseatouille and Lottie World. This has been the goal since inception. The show has become a thoughtful and trusted source of emerging talent on an international scale.
704 sets feature everything from left-field guitar music to trip hop, and samples ripped from Instagram reels and YouTube videos. A lot of the selection offers subtext and deeper storytelling for those who are curious, and dips in and out of clips that perhaps nod at personal memories or current cultural moments.
The programme is currently also produced by Mona Maguire, Stella McMahon and Will Naufahu.
704 W High St will DJ from doors at 6.30pm.
