Alice Morgan x Ronan Apcar
Live at The Church
27 March 2026
Firebrand pianist Ronan Apcar and trailblazing saxophonist Alice Morgan join forces to present a contemporary take on saxophone playing that swings between poise and ebullience.
With three world premieres from Australian composers Andrew Howes, Gerard Brophy, and Elizabeth Jigalin, the pair combine virtuosity with lyricism in an international survey of new saxophone works and arrangements. This exploratory program features modern classical music full of rhythmic vitality and vivid musical colours that invites audiences to encounter the rich sound world of this duo in unexpected ways.
