Noisey, krauty and dark: EXEK's album 'Advertise Here' is droll and introspective, the Melbourne five-piece exploring post-punk, funk, dub and krautrock throughout. Each song drowns in covered meanings, with farcical one-liners and jiving guitar riffs littered across the record. Performing for our Season IV program in 2022, EXEK packed The Nest with guests to celebrate their distinct musical blend and sardonic style.
