RVG — "Tambourine"

Taking cues from the rich lineage of unapologetic Australian post-punk while infusing the genre with a purely human vulnerability, RVG is a band whose performances are hard to turn away from.

In this intimate session, Romy Vager and her band perform “Tambourine”, one of the highlights from their recently released LP 'Brain Worms'. The song is a devastating lament for the loss of a close friend, whose passing was marked in less than glamorous circumstances. Despite the tragedy of the tale, Vager sings with resolve, supported by the driving jangle pop instrumentation of her bandmates who play together effortlessly following an extensive overseas tour.
